Willington PTA Phone Tree
|
To Parents and Guardians of Hall Memorial School and Center Elementary School Students:
The Willington PTA Phone Tree is a volunteer notification system used to inform
families of an emergency closing at Hall Memorial School and Center Elementary School.
We realize that in this rural community some families depend upon this service, while
others are encouraging their child's growing independence and would rather not participate in the Phone
Tree.
If you would like to enroll your student, please have them
pick up the PTA Phone Tree Emergency Closing Information form.
This form is available in the school office or print it at the bottom of
this page and must be returned to your child's teacher .
The PTA Phone Tree will call your designated contact to inform them of an emergency
closing at the school. Since calls are made prior to 12 p.m. for HMS and 1:00 p.m. for CES,
please list names and numbers of people we will be able to reach before this time. Your home phone number
will not be called first unless it is put down as your first contact number
Please note that all students will be sent home upon dismissal time whether or not you are contacted by the PTA Phone Tree.
Students will be sent to their regular bus stop for that day of the week.
Parents or guardians must communicate any special instructions for children on
an emergency closing day directly to Hall Memorial School at 429-9391 or Center Elementary School at 429-9367.
Messages CANNOT be taken by the volunteer callers.
It is extremely important that the school is notified of any changes
to your Willington PTA Phone Tree information
as soon as they occur.
